Bio

Currently a master’s student at Georgetown’s School of Communication, Culture, and Technology - my focus is on Diasporic identity formation in culture and media, especially as it relates to the children of Diaspora in the United States. Alongside this focus, I have also dedicated my time to honing my passion for media specialization, with experience in Audio-visual editing, Podcast Production, and writing (fiction & non-fiction).

My professional experience ranges from Social Media content production & strategy for Political Campaigns, Student Organizations, and Business Development gained from working with Omnicom Media Group following my undergraduate degree.

While at Georgetown University, I had the opportunity to host a screening of Ien Chi and Dan Chen’s film I'm Not An Activist, followed by a Q&A, was a coordination intern at the inaugural DC/DOX Film Festival, and organized a screening of The Persian Version for the Georgetown community, followed by a Q&A with director Maryam Keshavarz and composer Rostam Batmanglij.
